Wrens Bakery is a traditional bakers. They make everything on site and offer a really decent range of breads, rolls, cakes and sandwiches. So if it's crusty bread for serving alongside a stew, or a fresh cream eclair for Sunday afternoon tea! Check them out. This is my local and I shop here 3-4 times a week! Highly recommended.
Lovely food on offer here, although a little bit more expensive than other nearby shops.
My favourite bakery in the whole UK. Whenever I'm passing Newport and I know that Wrens are open I have to pull off M4. The only problem is that there are too many 'out of this world' things, and I always buy bags and boxes full. The pork pies and scotch eggs are to die for and the fresh cram cakes are just the best
