Has decent shops, shame that some places are being over shadowed by friars. Pretty clean areas and security to keep people safe.
Not terribly exciting. The Post Office has moved out, there are empty units, there are some 'cheaper' shops. Santa's Grotto is tacky.
It was worth the visit to town to get a few odds n ends with a stop off in Starbucks to enjoy their hot chocolate and ginger latte from their Christmas range lovely place great staff always polite and cheerful. Sorry no pics but there will be next time I'm in.
Not a bad selection of shops, however Newport is a long way off other nearby cities, namely Cardiff, Bristol etc when it comes to shopping venues.
