Interesting venue on the river in Newport - parked at the multistorey above Iceland because all the on road parking in the vicinity seems to be permit parking. Rather lacklustre welcome, but good coffee and a decent lunch. I'd certainly go back, perhaps to try the evening menu that looks a little more substantial. Or the prosecco brunch!
Excellent. Probably best Sunday lunch I've ever had and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go again. Highly recommended.
Have been here twice for meals and it was great both times. They are creative with cocktails and mocktails and the burgers are delicious! Easygoing, stylish decor. Friendly, efficient service. Will definately go again.
We had a fantastic evening in here last night, the food service and drinks were all exceptional and they catered for my dietary needs the best food I have had in a very long time. The live band was also amazing and all our party said what a fantastic venue it was. Cant recommend it enough.
Really disappointed with this place, looks amazing inside, food was good, but the service was dire. Trying to book a table was difficult as we'd called but we're told to book on line, tried that and failed, called again, someone was going to ring back, but they didn't. Eventually, we booked after driving there and going in. Things didn't really improve. My pet hate is when your food arrives, and you're asked can I get you anything else and you'd like to order drinks and your told, that you'll have to get those yourself! Actually, no, I'd like to have my food while it's still hot. The server did come back a minute later and said she'd do it this time, drinks order was taken, eventually turned up and it was wrong. Drinks order taken again and it never showed up. Same happened with the food order and the starters were wrong. On checking the bill, we found we'd be charged for items we hadn't ordered and certainly hadn't received. Main course was very tasty (roast turkey) but my friends vegetarian option was tasteless. Won't be going back.
