Unfortunately I took a 5 mile detour to get lunch in an independent cafe (not Little Chef or Costa) but a note said it was shut. It appeared to be family issues so I can understand. It looked nice though! I've given low rating only because I didn't actually go in so don't know. I will try again though when in the area.
Sorry, but this place have to be close, not in standard ,high prices for a corner.

A lovely little local caf, which was flexible around their menu and catered for children well. Nice staff in a clean and tidy environment. Did a good cooked breakfast. All in all, I would definitely go there again.
Kathy's Cafe is a great unassuming Cafe. The menu is varied and cooked fresh to order. The kitchen is so accommodating to various different diets including personal tastes. I have to admit their hash browns are different and to die for. The Sunday Lunch is all home cooked and taste just how it should. The portions are generous and more is always available.The cost is reasonable but far less than the quality of the food and service given.
